Sometimes, it isn’t just diamonds that are a girl’s best friend, but sometimes it is actually a pair of reliable, trusty and efficient hair straighteners. For many they are a must-have and a key part of any beauty repertoire. This Autumn we have been introduced to Cloud Nine and their award winning range of straighteners. In particular, we have been getting close and personal with their Original Irons (RRP £129.95).
The Original Irons utilise Cloud Nine’s revolutionary mineral infused ceramic plates, which aim to reduce damage to the hair and provide an instant heat surface for speedy use. The surface is super smooth and perfect for a frictionless contact. Plus, the ceramic plates allow for hair to be straightened at lower temperatures – keep your hair healthy, for longer.
We absolutely loved the adaptability of these straighteners and their temperature range. The LED display provides you with the options of various heats; therefore meaning people with thinner hair can find a temperature to suit them. The irons adjust from 100C to 200C and Cloud Nine suggest that the heat is distributed evenly throughout the ceramic plates.
So, how did they perform? The combination of the mineral induced ceramics and temperature controls meant that the results were absolutely phenomenal. We have to say that the hair straightened faster, smoother and silkier than most competitors. We even felt that these were on par with market leaders GHD and in certain aspect, outperformed GHD.
We have to say that every element of the Cloud Nine Original Irons were of the highest calibre, from the packaging to the results. Hair felt luxurious, super shiny, silky and frizz-free after use.
Plus (and we love, love, love this feature), Cloud Nine straighteners use intelligent sleep technology, which automatically kicks in when the irons have been switched on, but not used for 30 minutes. When in this mode they’ll cool down to ‘box temperature’. This is a fantastic feature and gives that extra layer of safety.
All Cloud Nine Irons come with a carry pouch, protective heat guard and safety heat mat. For the online shop, product information, product testimonials and a list of salon stockists please visit www.cloudninehair.com.
