No these aren’t just for miners… there’s not too many of them left in the UK anyway is there?!

A head torch is the must have accessory this winter. How many times have you been one hand to short to complete a task in the dark because you’re hanging on to a cumbersome torch… well no more!

Energizer have two great head torches we recommend to fill those Christmas stockings this year.

Energizer Cree headlight - £29.99

The Energizer Cree headlight contains one single ‘cree’ LED, which is 10 times brighter other LED headlights, creating the brightest LED headlight on the UK market. Designed for reliability and visibility during extreme weather conditions, the balanced lightweight and slimmer design with the light at the front and the battery at the back gives adventurers the feel of freedom. The Cree runs for 20 hours on one single AA battery and is waterproof.

Race in a Case arrived, ready for review. I was so excited that I nearly ripped open the box. The concept seemed so good and I couldn’t wait to test the game play. The setting up part took a matter of minutes and pretty soon I was racing my better half (the lap counter showed she had won in the end, but that’s not important….).

As portable and as accessible as this racing game is, you would expect some compromises in, maybe, the fun of it all. Not so, my friends. This set leaves the competition at the starting line.

We recently had the pleasure in reviewing a copy of Norton’s 360 all-in-one anti-virus for the site. Yes… ok it’s an unusual gift idea, but then that’s what this site is all about right!

Everyone with a computer needs an antivirus solution! For some strange reason there are people out there who enjoy the feeling that they are causing havoc with people’s lives by ruining their PC with things like ‘Trojans, Malware and viruses’. It’s beyond me why they’d do this!

Anyway, that’s not the point… the point is that you need to protect your machine and Norton 360 all-in-one anti-virus seems like a perfectly adequate solution for that. Yes there is free software out there to download, but compared against Norton’s 360 you’ll find it doesn’t even come close to protecting your machine.

It’s easy to install and provides 24/7 security 365 days of the year. This is all about peace of mind and I can safely say that you won’t be disappointed with the product. It’s designed t protect up to three machines too!

We’re giving away 5 x copies of the software worth around £35. See below.

Candles are always a safe pressie if you’re unsure as to what to get someone, and this year Molton Brown have launched a gorgeous collection of three candles entitled the Air constellation set, which retails for £59.

The scents are refreshing and when burnt together, produce a really individual smell that fills the room for hours.

The set comes in a very attractive box, I can see these being very popular this year. Buy here.

There’s a rather special treat for serious seafoodies this Christmas - a £2,500 seafood hamper from premium online fishmonger The Fish Society.

Containing 17 kinds of seafood including 16 inch long giant Siberian crab legs, extra large crab claws from Chile, freshly cooked native UK lobster, four kinds of prawns including monstrous prawns from Madagascar weighing in at half a pound each, assorted more humble but nevertheless crucial shellfish, and as the magnificent centerpiece, 750g of Sevruga caviar - this is by far the most luxurious seafood hamper on the planet.

Called the Caviar & Crustacean Atomic this seafood hamper will feed 30 guests at a cost of £70 per head.

If £2,500 blows your budget for food this Christmas, you may like to consider their Caviar & Crustacean Blowout hamper at £1,500 (around £45 per head).
