Kickers have gone one step further to making the kids happy. Being a mother myself, I am well aware of top brands that the kids just love; the most common being Lego. I played with Lego myself when I was a child, and just love to help my 2 boys build things with Lego now. (I am a self confessed big child at heart, and I love it!). Also, another top brand that I had to get when I was at school is Kickers. They produce some fabulous shoes for kids, and I know that my own kids will be getting a new pair each for the next school year. So, Kickers have now, for the third year, collaborated with Lego to create a fun selection of shoes for the kids. The previous two seasons have been a huge success, and I really hope they keep this going for many more!

I love coffee, I sometimes need coffee! What I find hard to replicate at home, is that lovely cup you get from your favourite coffee shop.
You know what I mean, somehow it’s not the same. My cafetierre gave up on me recently, so I was over the moon when Nigel’s Eco Store sent me the Presso, an Espresso coffee maker. Formed from polished aluminium (can be recycled at the end of its life), The kettle uses the only electricity needed to make an Espresso. No electricity required for the Presso itself.

To make an Espresso, 2 things are required - Boiling water and pressure (ok, 3 things…you need coffee grounds!). This is where the fun of Presso comes in. You provide the pressure by moving the arms up and then slowly down. You become an Espresso professional. There is something in the movement that makes you start to pose a little bit. It’s very satisfying!
More importantly, The Espresso itself is of coffee shop quality. What you get is delightfully smooth, not like my old cafetierre which used to chug out grainy coffee.
And as important again, the electricity consumption is a lot less than normal machines. It looks really cool as well! It has pride of place in my kitchen now - because of two things, it’s looks and it’s performance.
At £79.99, you can get real Espresso’s time after time. There will be no electricty costs and you will be lowering your carbon footprint. Guilt free, perfect Espresso’s from Presso and Nigel’s Eco store.
If you want to tap in to the magic that inspires little ones, these personalised books will see you right.
www.itsyourstory.co.uk offer some amazing titles, with your child (or Grandchild) being the main character.

Allow your nipper to be the focus in “SuperSox and the Vanishing Teddies” - £17.50 or “(Child’s name) and the Beanstalk” - £19.99 to “(name of child) and Fairy Girls Unicorn Hunt” -£19.99.
The stories themselves are well written and perfect for the age range specified. Itsyourstory is really good at tweaking these for maximum personalisation - Your child’s best friend, child’s age, hair and eye colour, favourite TV programme, child’s weight, size of feet and in some stories the name of favourite teddy bear.

Your childs face is used in the pictures, superimposed onto the character for maximum effect.
A personal message at the front of the book makes this ideal as a real keepsake.
The itsyourstory website has loads of different titles. The ones I have listed above are from the 4 - 8 year old section. Also available are books for 1, 2 and 3 year olds.
My two boys were so chuffed with their books that they had to take them into school. The whole class was treated to a memorable story time!
Imagination fuel for little ones - the perfect gift
‘Mum, are we there yet? Dad, when will we be there? Mum, Dad, hurry up, I’m bored!!!’ Kids are some of the most impatient little people around. But, hey, can you blame them? Sitting in the car for hours on end, driving to a destination of their parents’ choice can be boring. Or, even when Mum and Dad insist on their children going on long country walks with them…..boring!!!!
So, all hail the I Can Spot detective style flip books. These books will most definitely keep the little ones amused when out and about. Yes, it is just a little book, but these books are full of marvellous items to spot when travelling or on a walk-about. These books are aimed specifically at toddlers up to children of seven years of age. Each book is wonderfully designed with a tick box on each page. The child has to look at the picture on the page, and then has to spot it out in the open. When the child spots the image, they have to tick the box; it’s as simple as that. I have two boys myself, aged four and five, who love to put pen to paper. So I know that these flip books will be just perfect for them. Personally, I would suggest using a pencil on the books, then the ticks can easily be erased and the book can be used over again. We all know that kids just love to tick things!
The makers of these fantastic little books are 2littleboys. They have produced four I Can Spot Flip Books, which can be bought together in one great deal. These include; I Can Spot…Numbers, I Can Spot…People with, I Can Spot…in Town and I Can Spot…in the countryside. So you can easily bring these books wherever you go, educating the kids and keeping them entertained together. What more could you ask for?

The I Can Spot Bundle (all four books) is priced at £12.00 and be purchased at http://www.2littleboys.co.uk.
Fathers Day is just around the corner, so it really is time to think about what you want to buy your Dad; after all, he is worth it. If your Dad is like mine, he will have got everything he needs, and is actually the hardest person to buy for. It can take ages finding that perfect present, well, it does for me anyhow! And if it’s not for my Dad, then it is for my fiancé. He seems to be getting harder and harder to buy for! There are so many gift options that are the norm, things that Dad will be in no way surprised about. So for something that is beautiful and very stylish indeed, why not get your Dad a fine looking gift from Hawes and Curtis, he will be sure to love it.

Just enter your body measurements and the shirt of your choice is shown on a mannequin of your body’s shape. This is the first time I have seen a virtual fitting room and I was completely fascinated with it, I think every good website should have one!
The shirts are of fine quality, and seem to be made to perfection. My particular favourite is the York slim fit men’s high collar purple and lime paisley shirt. This is completely different to what I would usually buy. However the colours and designs just captivated me and I just cant wait to get a closer look, I am sure not to be disappointed. It really is such a stunning looking shirt, and my man is going to look great in it!
