I haven’t completed a jigsaw in years! With a 4 and 5 year old always wanting to ‘help’ me, and then having to clear the kitchen table in time for meal times, it actually proves impossible to do. Now, thanks to Jumbo Puzzle, there is no need to pack up a half finished jigsaw. The Porta Puzzle Deluxe is here to help! This unique portable puzzle holder means you can move or store complete or incomplete puzzles of any size. Yes, it really is that easy, all puzzlers out there will be wondering how they ever survived without one.

The Porta Puzzle Deluxe features two extra surfaces to separate your puzzle pieces, making it easier to sort different colours. The special lining keeps pieces firmly in place, providing the ideal surface to work on. When dinner time is calling, just close over the holder, zip it up and store behind your sofa or under your bed. The great thing is that you don’t need to keep the folder flat, you can store upright making it easy to slide in just around anywhere.
I really do recommend this for jigsaw lovers. It stylish, strong and robust, will last you for years. It is the perfect gift for those who enjoy their puzzles.

Specifically aimed at the older Dads who can’t get their head around the latest technology, Emporia Telecoms has introduced the TALKpremiun mobile phone.

This mobile looks rather funky and host many sensible features which make it easy to use, no matter what age you are. I am blown away with how sleek the TALKpremiun handset looks, and, there are plenty of over 50 year olds I know that will find this the best thing since sliced bread!
The keypad has got large buttons which make it easy to access and see. Those individuals who are slightly visually impaired will find this mobile may be the one for them also. Emporia Telecoms say:-
‘With talk and text, a handy torch function and an alarm clock this mobile does everything you need it to do without complicated menus and unnecessary functions! The display colour is optimised for people with minor sight impairments. A special font has been developed for optimum readability and the loudspeakers are created to ensure no whistling feedback.’
The TALKpremium is therefore, without a doubt the perfect gift for those dads who are scared of technology. For those who like to get out and about, want a mobile but don’t want a complicated phone, and just want to talk and text, making it just right for Father’s Day.
TALKpremium is currently available through Talkmobile, priced £79.99 (http://www.talkmobile.com / Tel. 0844 854 0838).
The MiBody360 Collection is going to change the way we use health products.
The range so far consists of Digital Body Analyser scales, Blood pressure monitor and this excellent Pedometer. What sets these health products apart from the rest is the application of software to use on your PC. You have never been able to track your own health stats so accurately or easily.
The Pedometer / Activity monitor is simple to use and can be worn as a necklace or stored in your bag or pocket. It measures steps (walking & running), distance and calories.
With all the MiBody360 products, this then plugs into your PC and uploads the data onto Free MiBody360 tracking software (Windows XP, Vista & 7 compatible).
You can get yourself one of these at Homedics site for £49.99.
The benefits of being able to track your performance over a length of time and then review is huge. Your fitness routine will never have been under such scrutiny! I feel it also adds a competitive edge that would not have been present before. (You did 10,000 steps yesterday, how many more can you do today?)
Although there is a lot of technical stuff going on here, do not be put off. The data is uploaded using USB. The software will install itself and the data is easy to understand. Simplicity is in evidence - or rather, ease of use. There is nothing simple about this great little health gadget.
