This Pixel Sofa is definitely off the wall! In fact it is claimed that it’s creator Ron Arad ventures to the extremes of design and materials to produce products like this.
The sofa comprises several soft parallelepipeds conjoined and fixed to the base with the protruding nodules giving it the unique shape. This product will be presented at Salone Internazionale del Mobile.

Their aesthetic beauty rightly won them the Red Dot Design Award.
The shape has continuous curved structure supported by a central base in chromium plated metal. The central column has a 360° swivel function with return mechanism.
An expensive, but delightful gift for anybody....
Ok, this Maxx Chair by Arik Ben Simhon isn’t going to be to everybody’s taste. But for me it’s outlandish and almost sci fi in it’s looks. Great piece of originality for any room - and comfortable to boot.
Not sure on retail price - but probably not cheap....
Wild and wacky sums up this stack chest of drawers by Shay Alkalay.
This is undoubtedly uber storage which goes for the open drawer philosophy!
This item was exhibited at the Milan Furniture Fair, with units available in 8 drawer or 13 drawer variations and two tone colour schemes.

This chair is quite interesting given that it is made from recovered wine barrels - although it must hold the title for the most uncomfortable chair I have ever seen.
The cost of $195 (£95) means that you have to pay a bit for your purgatory!!
A few nice features:
• It folds flat (good for storage).
• Whilst it looks like it will carve up your bottom - aesthetically it’s quite interesting.
• Each chair is finished with linseed oil and branded with the name of the winery of origin under the seat.
