How about this beauty for a book worm. It’s called the Bookinist Chair and is the height of convenience for book folk.

image

Retails for £1,460 ($2,920) at Flujo who say:

“The Bookinist chair from Nils Holger Moormann is the perfect chair for the mobile bookreader at home. It’s original design, and ability to be wheeled around the house, make it fun and practical at the same time.”

I love the mobility aspect of this product - if only it was motorised!!!

This slightly bizarre, ball styled poster bed from the Conran Shop retails for a sprightly £8,995 ($18,000). It’s not exactly displeasing to the eye but it will take a certain type of decor to fit in.

image

The Conran Shop say:

“Dramatic and beautiful, this interpretation of the traditional four poster bed is a complete scene-stealer. The balls and frame are made from burnt and waxed ash, finished by hand, with a slatted base in beech wood. It is exclusive to The Conran Shop and can be made in custom sizes.”

Comfort and peanut chic is how I would classify this beautiful lounger from “The Little Book of Furniture”.

image

Described as a “Peanut Chaise-Longue in ivory easy care leather” this piece of furniture has oodles of style and comfortable curves.

Retailing for approximately £625 (approx $1150) (depending on the spec) this piece of furniture would make a great addition to any lounge.

If you’ve a got a bar at home like the Quench Q2 Bar you’re going to need contemporary bar stools to match.

These Kartell perspex alternatives might do the trick. Their certainly look contemporary and their certainly different from your run of the mill bar stool. Personally I luv em!

Retailing at Graham and Green for £109 ($200) each of these popular larger stools come in coloured perspex by Kartell and designed by Philippe Starck.

Available in a range of sizes and colour options including - Crystal, Green, Orange & Smoke.

Long live cooool Britannia! Or at least that’s what this really chic coffee table screams out at me.

I think as we all seem to be moving inexorably to more minimalist styling it can be quite nice to break up the monotony with a real talking point. A real show stopper. This coffee table does just that.
