Scented candles and other scented objects seem to be all the rage at the moment. Personally I think this is a little bit of a fad, but I was recently impressed by a niche retailer in this field called Dipstyque. They offer some really quality products that are interesting and original.
Take for example the new Ivy Scented Lierre candle which apparently “has a gorgeous fresh scent with a combination of woody notes, hint of spice and light musk with a splash of citrus. Perfect for any room, but best suited to dining rooms and sitting rooms providing a refreshing scent of the outdoors” Sounds great and would make a wonderful gift in my opinion. Priced at £29.50 their not going to break the bank either.

This is a novel idea for a gift. Quite simply a few bits of pine timber, stuck together, and made to look vaguely like bambi.
Doesn’t sound too great does it. Well, when seen in the flesh it does seem to have a charm about it! But quite frankly the retail price of £195 seems way off the mark to me.

You’re going to a wedding and their’s no gift list. What do you do? Well, if you’re anything like me you’ll probably end up doing some serious head scratching. However, help maybe at hand. For originality and something memorable ClothUK may offer an option.
The idea behind it is that you take a snap and have ClothUK digitally print it onto upholstery or furniture covers, turning a piece of furniture into something truly individual. The furniture then has a stain and water repellant finish impregnated making it durable. Quite an original idea for a gift huh.

It’s not often you’ll hear me holding up Big Brother decor as a beacon to behold. But I spotted this garden chair on the UK Big Brother web site and was quite struck by the cool styling. I think this could make a really original wedding gift - although I’m not quite sure, exactly how comfortable it would actually be. I mean would it be like sitting on a cattle grid!?
Not sure where this garden chair is retailing or how much - but if anybody knows please leave a comment below.
