Right listen up, this isn’t just a portable speaker for an MP3 player. The Pocket Boom is a tiny sized bit of fun!

The Pocket Boom portable vibration speaker turns any surface into a speaker. It is a speaker that doesn’t actually come with a speaker….

This very cool gadget can convert any surface into a speaker by simply placing the vibrating end – the magic sticky pad - to the surface.

The sound varies depending on what you use as the ‘speaker’ and this is where the fun starts. I promise you that you will not be able to help yourself – you will start looking at everyday objects to see what works best.

As long as the surface is flat, the Pocket Boom works on every conceivable surface, from double glazed windows and solid oak doors to wooden boxes, plastic bowls and even things like shoes and fruit.

This is exclusively available on MobileFun.co.uk from Today, 1st December 2011 and makes a great stocking filler for every music fan.
You’ve got to see it to believe it. Watch how it works in the Pocket Boom video:

Measuring just 9.5cm long and 3.5cm in diameter, the Pocket Boom is small enough to carry around with you in your pocket. And at £19.99, it’s easy on the pocket too.

Great product, great price, great fun.

Lurking in a cupboard near me sit two pairs of headphones. I think the term for these headphones is ‘knackered’.

Bust, broken and now useless, these headphones are redundant. Snapped along the head frame, I am not sure why I still have them. Probably because they cost a few quid and I do not want to part with them so soon.

I am not reckless, I am not a thrill seeker, but my headphones just do not last the pace. It’s frustrating.

Bet you have a pair or two lurking somewhere too!

But fear not, because the masters of innovation, Philips have teamed up with O’Neill to create a headphone that will live up to the rigours of urban life and even beyond. Possibly the best headphones for snowboarder.

Certainly the most durable headphones ever.

Let me talk about The Bend, the saviour of headphones. Durability is the major USP here, with detachable cans when the stress gets too much. These headphones do not break under normal pressure, they just come apart as required saving that fatal snap.

It’s not all about the (fantastic) removeable cans though, they sound awesome. Thumping deep bass comes from dynamic 30mm drivers.

The name ‘The Bend’ comes from the super flexible headband. Throw in reinforced tangle-free 1.2 m cable with a 3.5mm gold plated connector, Adjustable fit headband and Super soft ear cushions, you get the total package.

Oh, they look pretty good too!

These headphones cost £61.28 (rrp) which is great considering the sound produced, but also the fact that they are likely to last a lot longer than your standard pair.

A perfect gift for snowboarders, or anyone who has a pair of broken headphones…..

We recently received our RingO, an ingenious device designed to allow you to hang your iPad on the wall (to show photos), hang it in the car to allow you to watch movies or perhaps just stand it up as a digital photo frame.

OK Peeps, this is a gift for you! I want to introduce Elsie, a really exciting new UK female singer.

She is going places…fast.

I will admit that I am enjoying X Factor, particularly for Gary Barlow’s overworked eyebrow and Louis Walsh’s lapses in composure and pitch. The acts aren’t all that bad either.

But I prefer my music a little more organic, a little more original and a lot more unique.

Labelled ‘One to watch’ by The Sunday Times, the debut album by this talented singer / songwriter is out early next year, produced by Jim Lowe, the man behind the Stereophonics’ sound.

What makes Elsie special? It’s a combination of an astounding vocal, hard work, and downright sassiness. She has attitude, yes, but it’s a good attitude. One that reflects that of the modern woman – feisty, confident and fun.

“I wanted to talk about what it’s like being a girl or young woman in the world today,” she says.

Elsie’s distinctive voice has been inspired by Blondie, maybe with a sprinkle of Sam Brown huskiness. Her disco rock sound is so right for now, and her band are as tight as it gets.

So your gift is a link to a free download of Elsie’s cover of the Streophonics ‘Dakota’ (click the link). You will agree with all the above once you have heard this, it’s a beauty.

You can find out a lot more about this new UK female singer by clicking on the link and you can follow Elsie on Facebook too.

Here’s Elsie’s cover of Let’s Stay Together….it is also rather good!

Her debut single will be released in January and there are two gigs in London before the end of the year at The 100 Club (Nov 11) and This Feeling (Dec 10).

If 2011 was Adele’s year, 2012 will surely be the year for this extra special new UK female singer, Elsie.

If you are after a new set of headphones and you simply love your tunes, You should really consider the Audéo Perfect Bass earphones from Phonak.

Phonak? Only the world’s leading manufacturer of hearing instruments….they know a thing or two about audio.

image

Audéo Perfect Bass earphones are a new model designed for music-fans seeking a dynamic, powerful bass sound.
Utilising their experience in comfort and fit, the latest innovation from Phonak includes three sets of interchangeable, silicone ear pieces – each ergonomically designed to sit comfortably in the ear, even after hours of use.

The secure fit reduces unwanted external noise by up to 23 decibels – the equivalent of ambient music in a restaurant or background conversation.

Audéo Perfect Bass earphones are fitted with specially designed, in-built filters that ‘tune’ sound waves to boost low frequencies and provide cleaner bass tones. The result is a punchier more exciting output, that doesn’t compromise on the overall sound quality.

What this means is clear crisp sound with no external interference. I have tested a few headphones sets, and I always use the same album. Ryan Adam’s Love is Hell is a corker and it’s great to use this as a reference point for comparisons.

I couldn’t tell you how many times I have listened to this before, but it is a ridiculous number for sure. I chose this cd as I know it so well…..or so I thought.

Your ears pick up these enhanced tones, so you do not have to have the volume set so loud. With the Audéo Perfect Bass earphones, I picked up twangs and bass lines I didn’t hear previously.

Stunning.

I urge you to but a pair and then kick back with your favourite album and then listen to the magic that you never knew was there. And once you have done that, go and ‘Like’ their Facebook page!

Audéo Perfect Bass Earphones are available in black from audeoworld.com, priced at £99 with a microphone and £89.90 without. They are compatible with all standard MP3 players, iPod and iPhone models with a 3.5mm stereo jack.
