This Earth and Constellation Globe from brightminds is truly excellent.

As a normal globe, it is well detailed geographically and is a more sturdier globe than most on the market.

In the polished metal base there is a light sensor, which changes the Globes appearance dramatically when the lights go out. The star map illuminates 88 different constellations in an electric blue. It looks stunning.

As a gift, I think this is perfect for little ones with enquiring minds. It makes a spectacular (yet subtle enough to be a) nightlight.

With this on site reduced from £54.99 to £39.99, this is great value….better get yours quick!!

Brightminds is a fantastic site offering toys that stimulate and inspire.

Marvellous Marvel Chest Of Drawers.

OMG!!! I do not believe that there is a man out there who would not be impressed with this hot new range of furniture from Belle Interiors.

Iconic and memory provoking, I love these drawers. There is a hefty price, but you get what you pay for in this world (£395). In this case, that is a quality I have not seen too much of. The Louis style chest comes with black lined drawers, chrome knobs and a unique sense of style.

If you have a favourite superhero, Belle Interiors can design a bespoke version for you. Perfection.

This is a gift that will keep you in good books for a long, long time…..Are you listening, dear Fiancee!

Electronic Arts Sequel to “Active Personal Trainer” is “Active More Workouts” and is exactly that, a right work out. I am knackered.

Retailing at £29.99, this is excellent value. The Active range gives you your own virtual personal trainer to guide you through the various exercises, like running, squatting and bicep curls. All the time, your coach is giving you feedback and advice to improve your exercise routine.

This is always going to be compared to Wii’s Fit, but I prefer this version and it’s different take on exercise. This release is more pushed towards hard work and sweat, rather than prancing around in daft yoga positions. It is two player, which is great for bringing out any competitiveness with your partner.

In the world of Working Out, nothing is more Iconic than Gold’s Gym. The first Gold’s Gym opened in 1965 in Venice Beach, California.

Dubbed “the Mecca of bodybuilding”, it was frequented by Arnold Schwarzenegger and featured in the 1977 movie “Pumping Iron”.

Today, Gold’s Gym is a global giant, with Gym’s and clothing lines everywhere. The Heritage 65 range, available at John Lewis, is a real trip back in time. The range consists of exercise equipment manufactured from traditional materials such as brass and leather.
