The National Trust has launched a toiletries and fragrance collection, capturing the essence of the evocative and naturally beautiful landscapes in its care. The collection is made in England using fragrance extracts from British fruits, flowers and plants, and features four distinct fragrances inspired by the coast, countryside, gardens and woodland looked after by the National Trust across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
There is plenty to choose from, with a selection of beautifully scented candles, soaps, lotions and eau de toilettes, the new National Trust collection is the perfect Christmas gift.

Whether you choose an eau de toilette as a stocking filler or a scented candle to warm a room, your purchase from the National Trust toiletries and fragrance collection goes towards supporting the Trust’s work as an independent charity preserving special places in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. A gift with further meaning to it is truly wonderful!
I must say that I adore the Hand & Body Lotion. It has been inspired by the Ashridge Estate, Herfordshire with its beautiful ancient woodland. Coming in a hand pump style bottle, this scent is infused with the musky notes of Beechwood, which conjures up a strong and rich fragrance. The prickly sweetness of Bramble works in tandem, creating a blend that truly captures the essence of the forest. 250ml cost £9.50.

The National Trust Toiletries Collection will be available from selected National Trust shops, leading Department Stores and Premium Garden Centres and Gift Shops or Online at http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk.
What a fantastic gift this would make! The Bulgari Limited Edition Save the Children Ring will not only make a gorgeous and stunning gift but it will also help Save the Children make a difference to children’s lives around the world. The silver and ceramic ring is from Bulgari’s B.Zero1 collection and is the gift that keeps on giving.
This ring comes in sterling silver and black ceramic and looks so nice. You can make a difference by purchasing it! £50 from the £250 (in which the ring costs) is donated to support Save the Children’s work.

Build-A-Bear Workshop teams up with BBC Children in Need once again to give Guests the opportunity to make their beary own Pudsey and Blush Bear. These are fabulous bears and I like my young boys and many alike adore. Following the success of last year’s campaign that sold over 11,500 bears, Pudsey and Blush Bear are back and now available at Build-A-Bear Workshop stores nationwide.
Pudsey and Blush fans are able to make their beary own BBC Children in Need mascot at any of 55 Build-A-Bear Workshop stores across the UK with £5 from the sale of each Pudsey and Blush Bear going directly back to the national charity Appeal. Blush Bear who is Pudsey’s ‘BBF’, likes playing the drums and dancing and is on hand to help Pudsey with his busy fundraising schedule, lending him a well needed paw when he needs it. Blush loves to have fun and comes with magnetic paws to help her cover her rosy cheeks.

New for this year is a furbulous Pudsey, who has been re-designed to feature a beary cute spotted heart, a t-shirt with an all new BBC Children in Need design and a bear-illiant pair of Pudsey slippers and pyjamas. Blush has had a make-over too with a beary pretty new pinafore dress. An additional £1 from the sale of the t-shirt, slippers, pyjamas and dress will also be donated back to the charity.

In 2010, Build-A-Bear Workshop donated a bear-illiant £135,000 to BBC Children in Need through the sale of Pudsey and Blush Bear and this year they’re hoping to do even better with the addition of new clothing for the furry pair. Every penny raised helps to make a positive difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people right here in the UK.
Build-A-Bear Workshop is based on the premise that nearly everyone, regardless of age, has a special fondness for stuffed animals. When Guests visit Build-A-Bear Workshop stores, they enter a light-hearted teddy-bear-themed environment. Guests are now be able to make and stuff their beary own Pudsey and Blush Bear, add a heart – a Build-A-Bear Workshop trademark – and if they choose, dress them in pawsome outfits.
Build-A-Bear say:-
“We are absolutely delighted to be partnered with such a worthy cause like BBC Children in Need again and with the addition of Blush Bear and a limited edition Pudsey Bear, we hope this year supersedes the previous year’s campaigns. Giving back to the community and helping children and families is a core value at Build-A-Bear Workshop and is at the very heart of our brand.”
Guests can support the cause by purchasing a Pudsey or Blush Bear from any Build-A-Bear Workshop store nationwide or from the company’s website at http://www.buildabear.co.uk. We all know that Christmas is a time for giving! But giving a gift with more meaning to it should be something we should all be doing! Why not visit Oxfam today and do your bit for charity this Christmas 2011. They do much more than charity shops and second hand clothes, oh yes; Oxfam has an array of new gifts available that could fill all your nearest and dearest needs. The products are really lovely and you know that when you buy a gift from there, you will also be helping those in need. Oxfam say:-
“Oxfam is a vibrant global movement of passionate, dedicated people fighting poverty together. Doing amazing work, together. People power drives everything we do. From saving lives and developing projects that put poor people in charge of their lives and livelihoods, to campaigning for change that lasts. That’s Oxfam in action.”
Here are some amazing gifts from their shop that I think would make wonderful gifts.
There is an array of craft kits available, which would make any craft enthusiast happy. From making your own bunting to letter embellishments, all craft projects are well and truly covered with Oxfam’s help. The Heart decorations craft kit (£11.99) would make a great sewing project for both young and old. Well, they say that home is where the heart is, and with these gorgeous little hearts, it certainly is that! This craft kit will give you the opportunity to make five fabric hearts to hang around the home or give away to someone special. The kit contains everything needed to create wonderful heart decorations in a mixture of corduroy, felt and patterned materials. You could even try stuffing the hearts with dried lavender for a fragrant treat. The box contains fabric, ribbon, stuffing, buttons, thread, needle, patterns and instructions.

Another crafty gift could be this Vintage buttons craft kit (£14.99). Now people who love their haberdashery as much as Gok Wan does will appreciate this kit! It makes for a fabulous creative project for grown-ups to make accessories out of vintage buttons. You have everything you need to make one long necklace or a shorter necklace and bracelet, as well as a brooch. The pot contains 150 buttons in a variety of sizes and styles in shades of green. The recycled bit and bobs are from old garments and factory waste – very clever indeed! This pot contains buttons, ribbon, embroidery thread and a needle kit.
