Saucony are known for being at the cutting edge of sporting and leisure footwear, but today I am writing about one of their hottest ventures – a dual project that incorporates designs from the legendary New Jersey footwear store Packer!
This Spring/Summer Saucony have teamed up with Packer Shoes to release a super limited edition range of four exclusive designs. These designs are colourful, bold and unique. Furthermore there are on 77! Yes 77, pair of each shoe being released to the UK. Also, only 350 will be released worldwide – these shoes are SUPER exclusive, to say the least!
The shoes are Packer’s take on saucony’s popular Saucony Grid 9000 style, which are the highest level in comfort and cushioning. The North Jersey store has injected an extra feeling of brightness and boldness to the range – the result is an eclectic mix of vibrant colours, accompanied by a classic look. They come in Tan/Blue, Green/Orange, Orange/Grey and Red/Grey – take a peek.

Coeur De Lion is an up and coming independent clothing brand for men, with class, quality and a Great British feel. The brand is in its infancy and yet it already has a great feeling of style and heritage.
It is a brand that pulls on the history of the iconic King Richard I, also known as Richard the Lion Heart, whose coat of arms was made up of two Lions and it is this image which forms the brands logo. Reigning from 1189 to 1198, Richard I was responsible for great changes across Britain, furthermore, his two lion crest laid the foundations for the subsequent three lion crest of today.
The size of the range is modest and is made up of fine polo t-shirts, lamb’s wool jumpers and jackets. I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of the lamb’s wool jumpers and I have to say the quality is excellent. It is light, well made and has a great feeling of quality. Also, it doesn’t feel as though you could get too hot wearing it, therefore, making it perfect to wear on spring and summer evenings.
The Lambswool jumper is available for £69.99.

Here are a couple of other pieces from their range:
Polo Shirts available from £49.99

Jackets and coats from £69.99

Keds began in 1916 and was launched by the U.S. Rubber Company, since then it has become know as the “original sneaker brand”. The brand also forced the term “sneaker” onto the global stage and managed to pioneer a whole new category of shoe as a consequence.
The first best-seller to show up on the market was the Champion, worn by legends like Paul Newman, Jackie Kennedy and Audrey Hepburn. Now, in 2012, the Keds collection is extensive and includes over 125 styles! Here are the details on the new and authentic spring/summer collection 2012/2013…

You can never go wrong with a cosy and warm pair of slipper boots. When it’s cold outside, they should be a must to keep our toes lovely and snug! For a fabulously lovely pair of slipper boots, let Woolenstock’s help you out. Already being a huge hit in the USA, Britain is now following the lead with many fans of these slippers. Sienna Miller is a well-documented fan as well as Gail Porter and a number of other female celebs. I now am a big fan of Woolenstock’s, as my feet have never been as comfy and cosy on cold evenings in the house.
All Woolenstock’s slippers and slipper boots are handmade in the Himalayas by a team of local artisans and each product takes 40 hours to make. There is a strong ethical element as all craftspeople are paid above average wage and all the materials are locally sourced; felt wool and faux fur. I had the joy of trying out a pair of Woolenstock’s outdoor boots.

Woolenstocks’ outdoor boots are water resistant and are available in a many colours and styles. The quality of these boots is great, and as a bonus, they are waterproof! The tread on the sole means that you won’t go slipping all over the place, so they are great for wet days! Even though some styles may not suit you, the performance of these outdoor slipper boots outweighs the style choice!
With pairs starting from around £68 they are reasonably priced due to the quality and materials used. They would be ideal for older ladies, the younger generation and basically anyone who likes cosy feet. A pair of Woolenstocks’ slippers would most definitely make a fantastic gift for any celebration, be it birthdays or Mothers Day.
Please take a look at http://www.woolenstocks.com where Woolenstock’s are exclusively stocked.
Who doesn’t love Keds? In 1916, Keds created ‘The Champion’, an original sneaker with a soft rubber sole. This has remained a style icon for almost 100 years. From movie stars, artists and tennis pros to first ladies, just about everyone had a pair of Keds. The new Spring collection for 2012 is both wonderful and trendy, offering you nothing but upmost comfort.
The new collection is inspired by two on-trend themes, Lawn Party and Pool Side. Keds say:-
“The Lawn Party theme mixes Keds heritage and 2012 style. Classic and smart silhouettes with a tailored flair made from materials such as linen and Hopsack and designed with plaids and stripes. The Pool Side theme exhibits new styles with bright, simple colour palettes or jutes and tropical prints.”
I absolutely adore the Champion Calico (£35.00). With a very pretty ditsy floral design, these incredibly soft shoes fit and feel delightful. They will be great for wearing in both Spring and Summer as they are so colourful, they will go with so many different outfits. Take a look for yourself –

You can guarantee that The Champion Calico will be a fun, playful addition to your wardrobe. In fact, they could well be a wardrobe essential with its clean, classic styling. If The Champion Calico isn’t to your taste, then please don’t worry as the Keds collection currently consists of more than 125 models in the broadest choice of designs, materials and colours!
