The Benefits of these teas include aiding digestion, weight loss, anti ageing and high anti oxidant levels. The fact that they taste great obviously helps!

http://www.blueberrytv.com/Blueberry TV have some great Innovative products that will make your life, if only slightly, so much easier and more enjoyable!

The Vacubox is such a clever idea, allowing food to be stored for up to five times longer than normal. Place your food items into the Vacubox and press the button that activates the Vac-u-motor which produces an air tight vacuum. What is really very cool about this is an in built sensor that detects any drop in air pressure. If this happens, Vac-u-motor kicks into life and produces another vacuum.

Mains or battery operated, £39.99 is great value for such a clever kitchen device.

The Washmatik was a surprise for me. I thought it was little more than a hose attachment for car washing. I was wrong in a big way! This is is such a clever, green and carbon neutral product! All you need to wash your car is one bucket of water.

Simply fill the tube by bouncing the valve up and down below the water level until one third of the tube is full. Clip to the side of the bucket, and lay the tube on the ground until the water flows to the brush. It’s so easy and dirt never goes back in the bucket, never goes back on your car. No taps, no tangled hoses.

No pumps, no motors, this portable cleaning system is powered by your movements. Go fast and the water flows fast, stop moving and the flow stops too.

At £27.99 and with some great accessories like an extension pole, wash and wipe for all your glass and a handy garden sprinkler, this is a fantastic, eco friendly cleaning system.

Please see blueberrytv website for more inspiring and innovative products like these.

Sometimes, I think I am lucky in my line of work. When Inverawe Smokehouse delivered their Cheese and Wine tray, my thoughts were confirmed.

Inverawe Smokehouse, Scotland’s specialist smokehouse and Royal Warrant holders produce smoked goodies like I have never tasted. Their smoked salmon is arguably the greatest ever (some statement, I know, but completely founded)

Each individual piece of fish or game (or some of my cheeses) are hand smoked in traditional brick kilns for up to 48 hours. This slow smoking process offers up a unique tasted and texture that gives Inverawe its reputation.

The Cheese and wine tray, complete with Wicker bread basket contains nothing short of heaven. A fine bottle of Montrose Cabernet Syrah, 200g Cropwell Bishop stilton, 110g Smoked Island cheddar, 190g Inverawe smoked Brie and 200g Mr Mackenzie oatcakes makes for a fine gift hamper.

The cheeses were all really good, The smoked Brie sublime. I am not too ashamed to admit that once I tasted this, I finished it in one sitting!

Inverawe are offering other gift hampers filled with sustenance and prepared with love for Valentines, such as Whiskey and smoked salmon box or the Port and Stilton box. Please check out their site for these and lot’s more devastatingly wonderful treats. All these gift hampers are available for under £40.00 each.

To mildly understate, I am a big fan.

Those wonderful people at Demijohn have really produced the goods for valentines.

Who could resist this truly awesome shaped bottle of Raspberry Vodka? Priced at £20.60 for 500ml and made from Scottish raspberries and Scottish Vodka, this is stunning added to Champagne or just over ice. I cannot work out what I prefer - the heart shaped bottle, or the contents!

Talking about great looking bottles….The olive oil and vinegar Ying-Yang combo is irresistable. 2 200ml bottles merge to form a complete gift for any food lover. El Campico extra virgin Olive oil from Aragon, Spain and Bramble vinegar from Comrie, Pershshire provide a centrepiece for any kitchen or dining room table. Great value for money at £14.20.

Both can be purchased at Demijohn site as well as their stores in Edinburgh, Glasgow and York - go seek out their unique, great tasting and gorgeously packaged range, Demijohn do not do disappointment.

“All the Chinese you will ever need to know” is the tag line of Wing Yip, the Chinese food ingredients supplier. The Hamper that was sent to iconic gifts would certainly agree with that, this is a foodie gift that would be long appreciated.

With Chinese New Year coinciding with Valentines day this year, this is a perfect hamper for your loved one – why not treat them to a romantic, home cooked feast?!

The set comes in a Wok and contains chop sticks and 7 different sauces and one curry sauce concentrate. The sauces include Sweet and sour, Chow mein, Black bean and Spicy Szechuan sauce.

The sauces are authentic and delicious. Wing yip have been supplying the Chinese food industry in UK for over 35 years, so the chances are you would already have tasted these products. Now, You can bring that authenticity home and create some super dishes!

The Wing Yip website offers a huge choice of Chinese, Japanese and Thai ingredients. In fact, at over 800 different items, you will never need to go anywhere else!

I tasted the curry sauce and knew that I had to go to my local butcher and splash out on something special to do the sauce justice. My duck curry will be discussed for many years (even if it’s me that starts the conversation!)

The two major plusses for me as a gift is it can be given to anyone who enjoys food (who doesn’t?) and the price. I didn’t know the price until I had given the set a good going over. At £18.99, I am staggered that such high quality and low price can be possible. A real favourite chez Paul’s.
