For anybody who likes a freebie, you might want to check out Balaton Spa.
They are offering a free travel bag with 6 travel products worth £24.99 when you buy their Face Mask 100 ml jar (equivalent 16 full masks) for £25.
The Balaton Spa Face Mask is 100% natural, solely containing 331 ingredients from nature. Apparently, celebs like Trinny and Susannah and Gok Wan use it on their shows.
I am no face mask expert, but on the face of it....! this sounds like a good deal....
Selve based in London’s Jermyn Street have started offering a shoe customisation service for women. Men will be offered the same service later this summer.
I particularly like the “made to measure” knee high boots - as will my husband when I purchase a pair later this year!
The Selve web site offers an interesting interactive design screen - so you can have a play with different colours, textures etc.
Whilst Selve is based in London and they do require an initial consultation - repeat orders can be made over the phone or by email.
I had never heard of Le Creuset until my wife disdainfully pointed out that they were simply the best supplier of kitchenware there is. I should have known of course!
I have to say that since playing with some of their products, I have been illuminated. Their sturdy, rugged quality is really quite refreshing in an age where things tend to look and feel like their meant to last 2 seconds of moderate use!
Anyway, with all this in mind, I heard that Le Creuset are now pioneering high end quality stainless steel products.
Described as:
“Super sleek range of 3-ply stainless steel cookware benefits from the latest advances in stainless steel with the use of 3-ply technology; an aluminium core sandwiched between two layers of premium stainless steel, which promotes an even cooking temperature throughout and helps produce the best possible cooking results every time.”

For the absent minded a diary/calendar or pda is pretty much a must. Personally, I’m old school - give me a pen and paper any day of the week.
The Acad-Pad from DodoPad combines the traditional diary/calendar characteristics with Academic specific features - i.e it starts the new year in August rather than September. It also includes weekly grids divided each day into five useful columns, witty illustrations and a variety of handy facts. Particularly handy for students, teachers and professors!
Both the Acad-Pad and Wall Acad-Pad are £11.95 ($24 approx) each on mail order or £10.95 ($22 approx) each from retailers.
Probably one of the nicest gifts someone has given me is a personalised photobook. To my mind, it shows real thought and effort has gone into the gift.
There are a few operators out there who offer this service, but it was Cewe Photobook who recently came to my attention.
With free Cewe Photo World software a photobook can be ready in just 3 minutes. The software guides you through each step of the design process, after which the finished photobook will be delivered direct to your door. The photobooks come in 6 different cover types including faux leather; premium linen; hardback; and soft cover and 4 different sizes.
Prices range from £5.99 for a photo booklet up to £34.95 for a hard back XL photo book. You can also add comments in text and many different background styles and colours.
If you’re stuck for gift inspiration, a photobook could be the perfect answer. Check out Cewe Photobook for further information.
