Marriage is a great institution and a wonderfully rewarding period in ones life. But we all know that there are times when you need to let off steam after a fracas.  Whether you go down to the gym and pump some iron or knock one out, it doesn’t matter, you’re still trying to achieve the same result.

It was with this in mind that I wanted to try and come up with the ideal gadget gift for Bride Grooms or even Brides, that would relieve some emotional pressure without expending serious amounts of physical effort.  The Hydrogen Fuel Rocket does all of this! Ok, so a coffee table may not sound iconic but this beautiful piece from Conran really would make a stunning wedding gift. At £1,650 ($2,700) you’re gonna need deep pockets but it simply wouldn’t fail to impress.

Here’s how Conran’s describe it:

“Designed by Terence Conran and exclusive to The Conran Shop, this striking coffee table is topped with patinated and waxed zinc. Its solid ash legs incorporate shelves, providing an attractive, hard-wearing and useful piece of furniture. Note that zinc marks very easily on contact with liquids, giving it its unique patina over time.”

Why would I suggest this as a gift? Quite simply because I have burnt myself so many times putting my hand under boiling hot water, or getting into a bath that’s to hot, or stepping into a scalding shower. This to some degree resolves the problem. Quite frankly I would have loved a couple of these as a wedding present. How original can you get, and how much safer for you and your children?

We have previously featured on Iconic Gifts how you can name a star after your loved one. It’s important to see this as a bit of fun and no it won’t be the official registered name of that star, nonetheless it was an original gift idea which we like at Iconic Gifts.

So in a similar vein we spotted the “buy a piece of the moon” gift and thought umm that’s a pretty original idea too.

According to lastminute.com “they will sell you an acre of prime moon real estate for £20 - Buy one get one free - Offer ends soon.”
