Airkix Indoor Skydiving Experience
Skydiving is said to be one of those amazing experiences you must do before you die. The only problem is that it aint cheap and for many of us it’s a little daunting jumping out of a plane to say the least! There’s also the fact that you are strapped to some person you’ve never met before and are completely guided by them… well NO MORE!
Airkix is an Indoor Skydiving arena in Milton Keynes. You need no previous experience, no change of underwear and it’s suitable for all ages above 5!
The centre has been open for just 9 months and attracted over 25k visitors. In essence you fly on a pocket of wind generated from an industrial fan which hits you at a constant flow of 150mph (same speed as if you were doing it for real).
If you are still a bit nervous the wind tunnel is big enough for 4 people to skydive together. Flyers are taken on a step by step programme, explaining how the wind tunnel works and how to get the most out of their flight. All flyers are provided with the latest equipment including flying suits, goggles and helmets.
The Airkix experience starts at just £32.99 for the Kix-start package (off-peak) which lasts (approximately) an hour and includes two flights. (The equivalent of three skydives all at once!).
