Now these, I just love!  The superb slippers that Woolenstocks produce, would be an ultimate Christmas gift for those who love a bit of comfort.  Already being a huge hit in the USA, Britain is now following the lead with many fans of these slippers.  Sienna Miller is a well-documented fan as well as Mica Paris, Camilla Dallerup, Gail Porter and a number of other female celebs.  I now am a big fan of Woolenstocks, as my feet have never been as cosy and warn this awful winter-time.

Woolenstocks gives us a wonderful story of how these slippers were first recognised, by Woogoo, their fluffy monster out on serach for comfort for his sore and cold feet, it goes on to say: -

“His curiousty led him to peak in at the door of the little house, and as he did, he couldn’t believe his eyes. There, sitting around a small table were the most talented group of artists, stitching by hand the most fluffiest, warmest and comfortable slippers. They were beautiful!  Every pair was being made with so much love and attention, that it took days to complete. Woogo looked at all the slippers and each pair was special and unique. There existed no other like it in the world. All at once his sore feet stopped aching and became happy at the sight of the slippers.”

I know how Woogoo feels – they really are that great!

All Woolenstocks slippers and slipper boots are handmade in the Himalayas by a team of local artisans and each product takes 40 hours to make. There is a strong ethical element as all craftspeople are paid above average wage and all the materials are locally sourced; felt wool and faux fur.

For the adults you can choose a fantastic range of slippers, from Sinaboo’s (£61.99) to Woogo’s (£72.99), to much more.

And for the kids –  there is a super collection that all their little friends would be envious of.  I especially love the Little Woogo Donkey style (£32.99) – they would make a great gift!
