It may have been raining solidly for a week BUT we’ve still had opportunity to go and try out the best flying disks for you this Summer….

Here’s what we tried and what we thought:

The Wicked Revolution - £7.99
Made out of a steel ring (outer) and a kind of neoprene in the middle, this is a hard wearing disk! It looks quite unique for a start, but it also flies as straight as a die (no wind is best of course). The weight carries it a good distance and it even bounces off the floor.

Outdoor Magic - £7.99
Next we tried out this Batmerang looking thing. As you can see it has three spokes, which you can adjust easily do change flight patterns. You throw it a little like a ninja star (not that I’ve thrown too many of them!) – a kind of over arm action. It basically goes in a giant circle and comes back to you – like a boomerang… but probably far more reliable! It goes around 15-20 metres.

Disk Magic - £3.99
The classic flying disk! The ones you see here are 140 gram (perfect weight for flying) and have a 25cm diameter. Love your retro, you’ll look great throwing this around the beach!
