CARS is a book by Stephen Bayley which details the history of cars in all their glorious detail through some incredibly stylish images. It’s a coffee table job for sure that will have the car lover drooling by the time they get to the end.
There’s some great historical facts at the beginning written in a style that doesn’t bore! There’s a pictorial review of a car for every year since 1908 starting with the Ford Model T and ending with the BMW M5 in 2003. It also has my favourite car of all time featured – the Porsche 356.
