I have never really understood the concept of a slow cooker until I was lucky enough to sample a delightful beef stew. Then the lightbulbs pinged in my brain. They are easy, convenient and the food tastes great…

Whilst I am far from an expert on this sort of thing, the Crock Pot Sauté Slow Cooker looks like as gooder slow cooker as I have seen.

Crock Pot reckon this thing is dead simple to use:

“Remove the Stoneware cooking pot from the heating base and you can use it on the direct heat of a hob.  You can even use it in the microwave or in a conventional oven.  If you have any leftovers, then this unique Stoneware can even be stored in the fridge or freezer.”

The new Crock Sauté Slow Cooker Pot has 4.7 litre capacity, but has a very modern finish and the stoneware is now rounder and with straight sides – making it ideal for cooking bread and cakes.

When you have finished your meal, the Crock Pot incorporates a Rinse Clean System.  This patented pot protection makes cleaning really easy, whether it is in the sink or dishwasher.

The range is available now and prices range from £39.99 for the original CROCK-POT® SAUTÉ SLOW COOKER, £49.99 for the new CROCK-POT® SAUTÉ SLOW COOKER and £59.99 for the CROCK-POT® COUNTDOWN SAUTÉ SLOW COOKER.
