I have been lucky enough to come across a toy supplier named Fiesta Crafts. The range is totally unique with a view to delivering quality and simply charming toys. Below is a small selection of what Fiesta crafts are all about. If you like these, I suggest you check out their website for the full range.
I start with Bunny Family Holiday – I challenge you not to say aaah! With so many of us not taking holidays abroad recently, what better gift than this soft material car and caravan playset?!
You get a family of three bunnys, a pullalong car (pulled by soft carrot on a string) and zip open caravan all with rolling wooden wheels, complete with pull down beds and more. This toy was quite rightly highly commended by the Giftware association and was awarded Gift of the year 2009. This is for 1 years upwards and retails at £29.99. Superb.
Match It! is an 8 game compendium made from beautifully crafted wood. You can play Bingo, Snap, 4 of a kind and Colours and shapes, as well as 4 others. Colours and shapes is a memory game which aids memory skills.
The board features recessed slots to help little fingers and comes with 4 racks for storing the game discs in. There are matching and observation games which can be played from 3 years upwards. This game was recommended by the Good Toy Guide 2009, it retails at £19.99.
Tellatales Finger Puppets are a range of finger puppets with wonderful detailing. Featuring fantastic wooden heads and cloth bodies, Fiesta Crafts offer sets from Wizard of Oz, Red Riding Hood, Beauty and the beast, Goldilocks and more.
There is also a painted wooden table top puppet theatre available, complete with pull back curtains. The puppet box sets go for £9.99, the theatre for £17.99. These puppets won a gold award at the Good Toy Guide awards 2009, judged by children. Deservedly high praise.
