It’s a Wonderful Life – The best Christmas movie of all time?
Not sure about you, but I often find it hard to switch out of work mode and into ‘Christmas spirit’... until I watch a good Christmas flick that is. It’s a Wonderful Life has to be one of the greatest all time Christmas ‘feel good movies’ and this year it’s out in time for the big day (2nd November) to own on DVD and for the first time on Blu-ray.
You can enjoy the immortal director Frank Capra’s classic in glorious high definition in both the original black and white version and now in a beautifully colourised version of the film. Both versions of the film feature on the Blu-ray and also on the DVD.
James Stewart is George Bailey, a man who at a low point in his life considers his suicide on Christmas Eve. Seeing his despair, an unconventional guardian angel, Clarence, comes to visit George and takes him on a journey through his home town of Bedford Falls. Throughout their journey, George comes to see just how destitute and unhappy his family, friends and community would have been had he never been a part of their lives.
