Hardly known as a Gift Mecca, but There are some fabulous wines available from the Co-op, meaning you can dash out to your local store and still make Dad’s day this sunday.

Finca Las Moras Bonarda is a cracking bottle of red. I fear Argentina are going to be superior this world cup, and this Argentinian Bonarda is the same. Made in the San Juan area of Argentina, it has a fantastic aroma of red fruits and blackberries and touches of vanilla and roasted coffee.

It is bold, exciting and full of flavour - A bit like animated Argentinian manager, Diego Maradona. Unlike Maradona, this is honest and pleasant. (and unlike me, not bitter - yes I still remember the hand!)

Right, away from the (all consuming) Football!

To go along with this outstanding Red, Co-op are also offering a lovely Pinot Grigio - perfect for these wonderful sunny days we are having.

To make this an even tastier treat, the Finca Las Moras Bonarda will be on offer in Co-op stores from June 16th until July 7th, with two bottles for just £8 – a cracking bargain at just £4 a bottle, compared to its recommended retail price of £4.99 per bottle.

Go on, Make your Dad smile!
