Nintendo DS – Tinker Bell and the lost Treasure

Based around the animated adventures of Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure ( DVD format - also available at www.play.com), this transfers onto the DS perfectly. The idea of the game is to help Tinker bell and her new friend Blaze find the Lost Treasure of Neverland.

Using the stylus to control Tinker Bell means the game is picked up easily. You tap on screen objects to interact. There is an icon in top right corner that tells you what you need to do next, to further ease game play. There are some very sweet moments in this game.

Apart from the main game, which would have been enough, there is a “fairy mode” where you can personally design up to five fairies. I was a bit out of my depth with all the choices available, from dresses, shoes and accessories! This was a fun aspect of the game as you can use your own fairies for further adventures within Pixie Hollow.

In all, with over 30 mini games and puzzles, this is an excellent DS title that will continue to entertain. Does it dent my masculinity to say I had a fabulous time testing this game?!
