No More Ironing For Bachelors!

I have always had a dream of a machine that irons your clothes for you. Being a lazy blighter I hate ironing and always try to palm it off to someone else. Well now there appears to be a machine that not only irons your clothes but also washes and dries them as well.image

The machine is the invention of Graduate, Oliver Blackwell hailing it as “the world’s first drumless washing machine”. This nifty gadget is called the WashDrylron and according to it’s designer:

“Does just what it’s name suggests. It washes, dries and IRONS your clothes in totally separate compartments - meaning no more colour runs, no shrinkage and, most importantly, no more ironing - the WashDrylon will reportedly save you ten days a year in ironing time!” Umm nicce....

Oliver goes on to say:

“I wanted to choose a product for my final product that everyone could connect with and a washing machine seemed like a good idea. My washing machine is the same width and depth as a normal washing but the beauty is it can save someone an average of ten days a year in ironing time! I think that is what helps to make it an object of desire and I am hoping that investors at the Ideal Homes Show realise what potential the WashDrylon has.”

The product apparently featured at the UK’s Ideal Homes Exhibition in March, with sale orders expected to be significant in the coming months. We understand that it will hit UK stores at some point next year retailing for £800.

We’re not sure how this product will ultimately perform but in theory this has to be an Iconic Gift for a busy bachelor or bachelorette!

READER COMMENTS:

Wowser this is excatly what I’ve been looking for, although I’m a little sceptical as to how good the ironing side of it will be.

Why does this have to be just for bachelors? Married guys will need this too; especially if their wife doesn’t iron.

I agree, but in my experience bachelors are the ones most in need of this device.
