The Parker Ingenuity has the look of a fountain pen without the hassle.

For me, Parker pens have always had the ability to enhance my handwriting. I will be honest, I use a keyboard more frequently than a pen, but testing the new Parker Ingenuity has made me remember the joy of writing, as opposed to tapping away on a keyboard.

When you type, it’s a little less emotive, you may lose the flow a little. That said, I am so used to a keyboard that I now find it hard to write with a pen over a long period. Yesterday, I started writing my Christmas cards and re discovered my love for hand writing.

Using a standard biro, my cards didn’t look fab. I then remembered I had a Parker Ingenuity to try out. This new wave of Parkers delivers all that Parkers have before (hand writing enhancement) and will adapt to your hand writing after just a few strokes.

And it does! Compared to a biro, my writing improved dramatically – see for yourself!

Immediately obvious is the continuous flow, it almost urges you to write more. Simply, it’s a pleasure to write with this and just as pleasurable to see you words forming beautifully on the page.

The Parker 5th technology get their name as a fifth way of writing. Following the fountain pen, ball point, roller ball and the mechanical pencil, the Parker 5th technology offers a new form of writing.

The clever refills ensure there are no leakages which makes this perfect for someone on the go. The aesthetics work really well too, the range holds some of the best looking pens out there.

The Pens are a revelation, graceful strokes fed by a continuous flow – an absolute joy to write with. Packaged in a traditional Parker box, these great looking, high performing pens are real contenders for gift of the year.
