Race in a Case
Race in a Case arrived, ready for review. I was so excited that I nearly ripped open the box. The concept seemed so good and I couldn’t wait to test the game play. The setting up part took a matter of minutes and pretty soon I was racing my better half (the lap counter showed she had won in the end, but that’s not important….).
As portable and as accessible as this racing game is, you would expect some compromises in, maybe, the fun of it all. Not so, my friends. This set leaves the competition at the starting line.
It is Eco friendly, needing no batteries or electricity. You might start to wonder how this is powered but this is where the fun kicks in. The hand held controllers have a handle that needs to be wound to generate power, much like a dynamo. The faster you wind, the more power you give to your racer.
It’s not all about speed though, if you wind too fast, your car will come off the track at the corners and if you wind too slow your car will not make it up the slopes. There is a certain level of skill involved.
I knew that I was going to love this before testing it. It still surprised me by its simple yet well thought out design.
A neat, compact, tough racing set that guarantee’s lot’s of fun!
