OK… so the sun hasn’t currently got his hat on… but I’m told by a reliable source that he will have soon! Whether you believe that or not, no summer kitchen should be without Giles & Posner’s latest retro slush machine. Close your eyes, go back to the 80’s and remember those delicious brain freezing Slush Puppies… now you’re exactly where I am at with my slush machine sample… love it!

I’ve been experimenting with all manner of ingredients (and having lots of fun in the process too). My son loves the Ribena cocktail… however gone bedtime it’s time to start cracking out those delicious cocktails. Hic!

This maker is very versatile and actually looks pretty cool in any kitchen. It takes minutes to knock a decent drink together and I can see this coming into great use at family parties, group gatherings, or events. You can create about a dozen drinks in one go (beats Mr Frosty I can tell you!) and experimentation is very much the name of the game.

Simply use crushed ice or small ice cubes from your freezer and a small amount of water. Add your favorite fruit juice and the machine blends and serves via the easy-to-use dispenser.

You can pick one up for around £49.99. Check out www.gilesandposner.com for stockists.
