RNLI Shop Launches Extended Range For Spring / Summer 2011
The RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) has been an integral part of Britain’s coastal communities since it was founded in 1824. The RNLI has saved over 139,000 lives in total, and rescues people every day.
RNLI Shop is the Royal National Lifeboat Institution’s trading arm that raises money through online, mail order catalogue and retail shops. With 100% of the profit from RNLI Shop going back to saving lives at sea, it is truly guilt-free and life-saving shopping.
February sees the launch of the brand new and updated spring / summer range from RNLI Shop including: new additions to the exclusive Yacht Dot range; a selection of British themes earthenware; great gifts ideas and gorgeous garden items.
These products are available online and by mail order catalogue, so there isn’t an easier or more worthy way to shop this year. And money does matter – in 2009 it cost £147.7m to run the lifesaving charity.

Clare McDermott Head of RNLI Sales states:-
“The RNLI volunteers provide such a worthy and vital service to the community, many of them risk their own lives daily at sea, which is why it is so important to give something back. RNLI Shop gives people another way to support the charity, while also doing a bit of shopping along the way.”
RNLI Shop focuses on nautical and coastally inspired products to reflect its long standing links to coastal communities across the UK and Ireland.
RNLI Shop also has 141 shops in the UK and the Republic of Ireland, which are staffed by volunteers and sell a range of local and souvenir products.
