Sometimes, the simplest ideas are the best. If a product addresses a problem, provides a use, makes things better, I am all for it…especially when it comes to gaming.

I recently downloaded a Sega All Stars racing game for the iPod. It’s not a bad little number, but it became apparent immediately that I was struggling with the handling.

Something wasn’t right.

About a week later, I got a Zygnett Zooom to try out. I knew if this was going to work, I should try it with the racing game.

Like I said, sometimes the simplest ideas are the best. My performance shot up drastically. A better controlled driving experience.

Simply speaking, the Zooom is a case that houses your iPhone (or iPod Touch) and has two sturdy, ergonomically designed grips meaning the iPhone can be turned, twisted or tilted at any angle.

The Zooom comes with two faceplates so it can be used with both the iPhone 3GS or iPhone 3G and the iPod Touch.

This could be the perfect iPhone Christmas gift this year, it is available from amazon.co.uk for only £24.99.

From my experience, this comes recommended.
