The Macallan – A Fine Whisky
The Macallan is known for producing fine single malt scotch. This delectable whisky is perfect for any special occasion, a tipple at home and especially good to share with your loved ones this Christmas time. Macallan was founded by Alexander Reid in 1824, and has since grown to become one of the most popular and well-known single malts in the world. With many varieties available, The Macallan Fine Oak 10 years old is the one to welcome you wonderfully to the Macallan world!

This is a smart looking bottle filled with a very good whisky! On the palate, this whisky is quite sweet and fruity hosts a touch of vanilla and a touch of oak. It’s nicely rounded and definitely one worth trying. The 10 year old is a well balanced whisky and is indeed suitable as a day-to-day whisky. I do recommend it!
Also to the Macallan collection is The Macallan Sherry Oak 18. This is a warm and classic Christmas tipple. Exclusively matured in Spanish oak casks it is wonderfully rich in colour and flavour with dried fruits, spice and chocolate orange. It costs £76. The Macallan Fine Oak 21 year old makes an exceptional gift for whisky lovers who will appreciate its soft, rich and spicy flavours with hints of orange and peat. It retails at a heftier price of £121.96 – but should be worth every penny!
