My two sons used to wake when the sun started to rise. When this was as early as 05.00, it’s not funny.

My boys are four and five and any day that they woke this early would leave them shattered later on. When I heard about the Magic Blackout Blind, instant relief washed over me, followed by jealousy…why didn’t I think of this? I had the inspiration every morning…Doh!!

The genius’s behind this great blackout blind are also responsible for the instant Whiteboard that caught the Dragons attention (and subsequent investment) in BBCs Dragons Den. Neil and Laura Westwood have produced another simple yet important product.

The Blackout blind works the same way as the whiteboard. Both are on a roll, both stick to any given surface using friction. The Blackout blind can be cut to fit or just overlay separate sheets to cover up window. Either way, the end result is quick and effective.

The Blackout blind is a must for youngsters rooms if you suffer the problem listed above. Maybe you have a more conventional, permanent blackout blind, what happens when you go away for a weekend / holiday?....the sun doesn’t stop shining!

For every day, holidays, moving home - these blinds have so many applications. To give a parent, say, an extra two hours in bed in the morning sounds like the best gift of them all!

The Magic Blackout Blind is available for £34.99 from http://www.halfords.com and will also be stocked in 62 Halfords Superstores.
