The Most Durable Headphones Ever - Philips O’Neill The Bend

Lurking in a cupboard near me sit two pairs of headphones. I think the term for these headphones is ‘knackered’.

Bust, broken and now useless, these headphones are redundant. Snapped along the head frame, I am not sure why I still have them. Probably because they cost a few quid and I do not want to part with them so soon.

I am not reckless, I am not a thrill seeker, but my headphones just do not last the pace. It’s frustrating.

Bet you have a pair or two lurking somewhere too!

But fear not, because the masters of innovation, Philips have teamed up with O’Neill to create a headphone that will live up to the rigours of urban life and even beyond. Possibly the best headphones for snowboarder.

Certainly the most durable headphones ever.

Let me talk about The Bend, the saviour of headphones. Durability is the major USP here, with detachable cans when the stress gets too much. These headphones do not break under normal pressure, they just come apart as required saving that fatal snap.

It’s not all about the (fantastic) removeable cans though, they sound awesome. Thumping deep bass comes from dynamic 30mm drivers.

The name ‘The Bend’ comes from the super flexible headband. Throw in reinforced tangle-free 1.2 m cable with a 3.5mm gold plated connector, Adjustable fit headband and Super soft ear cushions, you get the total package.

Oh, they look pretty good too!

These headphones cost £61.28 (rrp) which is great considering the sound produced, but also the fact that they are likely to last a lot longer than your standard pair.

A perfect gift for snowboarders, or anyone who has a pair of broken headphones…..
