I recently wrote about Celeb endorsed perfumes and I wasn’t particularly kind. I would like to retract my comments, I have just had a sniff of Avril Lavigne’s Forbidden Rose.

This will be singer Avril Lavigne’s second perfume. Her first release, Black Star, has won an award for “Best Fragrance” from Cosmetic Executive Women, which is one of the beauty industries biggest honors in the States.

Avril Lavigne’s Forbidden Rose
As a singer, Avril is credible, current and sits comfortably on the rocky edge of mainstream pop.

As a scent, Forbidden Rose is also very credible and current. Mysterious and magical, Forbidden Rose introduces a feminine composition of floral, woody and foamy fruity essences.

The scent features juicy Top Notes of Red Apple, White Peach, and Bourbon Pepper, fused with deep Heart Notes of Lotus Flower, Apple Blossom and Heliotrope.

Forbidden Rose is all about pushing the boundaries and searching outside your comfort zone to discover who you are.

The bottle is very Avril. It features an Avril Lavigne barbed wire ring with a pretty rose black cap and cute and chic faceted bottle.

Celeb scents, All is forgiven! Forbidden Rose is a wonderful, youthful fragrance.

Forbidden Rose is available now at The Perfume Shop in an EDP Spray 30ml TPS Price £19.50, EDP Spray 50ml TPS Price £26.50 and EDP Spray 100ml TPS Price £36.50.
