The Ultimate Spa Treatment Experience - Galgorm
I would love to share my recent experience with our readers, and highly recommend it to those who will be visiting or who live in Northern Ireland. The Galgorm Resort & Spa is nothing but true delight throughout and if you ever get the opportunity to stay here, you will not be disappointed! With a stunning setting and extensive grounds, Galgorm offers a perfect luxurious experience – one in which you can relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Their Spa is something else altogether!
The Thermal Spa offers you the chance to experience the ancient rituals of bathing in cold, cool, warm and hot environments to aid detoxification, purification and relaxation. The infinity hydrotherapy pool contains massage jets to ease away tensions while the heated cabins provide varying degrees of heat and humidity aimed at targeting different parts of your body including your respiratory and circulatory systems, your muscles and your skin. An invigorating rub with ice from the ice fountain will truly awaken the senses while a spell in the experience shower will prepare your skin for further treatments or maybe a relaxing soak in our outdoor hot-tub.
The World Class Spa at Galgorm is a true haven of peace and tranquillity – it really is a magical place. I had the ultimate pleasure of experiencing two treatments at the Spa, and to say I was calm and relaxed is an understatement! On first walking into the spa, you are overwhelmed of the peacefulness and I knew then that I was in for a right treat! Starting with a truly magnificent Hot Lava Shell Massage followed by a fantastic Deluxe Manicure, I left feeling like a different person.
My ‘me time’ experience was then followed by a delectable dinner at Gillies Bar which had no faults whatsoever. And then, what lady could refuse sampling a few cocktails from the cocktail bar! Here (if you’re lucky) the gorgeous Jamie can conjure up mouth-watering drinks effortlessly – I have to recommend the Artic Mintree, totally divine!
As a truly wonderful gift, I feel that a Gift Voucher from Galgorm Spa would be unique and unexpected! With treatments available for men and women, couples, mum’s to be plus much more, there really is something for everyone. So go on, I urge you to give your loved one a truly wonderful experience!
Another wonderful experience which I had during my visit was a tour of Belfast’s historical sites, with NI Black Taxi Tours. Their Belfast Black Taxi Tours are the best way to explore Belfast. The guide was knowledgeable and completely unbiased. He picked me up from the hotel and after the tour dropped me at the best spots for some retail therapy. Recommended!
