Thorntons, dare I say the leading Chocolatier, have really stepped up for this Valentines day. From 99p Chocolate Valentines Lollipops to the complete gift, the Red Continental Heart (£11.99), there is something for everyone’s budget and tastes.
The Heart gift box contains 24 dark, white and milk chocolates of a European variant. The box is gorgeous (Chocs aren’t bad either!) and can be used as a keepsake box for years after.
I would strongly recommend an additional purchase of Thorntons Praline Melts (£3.99). To be crude, they are gob sized – just right to fill your mouth. If you have the patience and control to let these melt you will enjoy an astounding taste experience. After my first, I giggled – what does that tell you?!!
