Top Gear Power Sliding GTR
The Power Sliding GTR is a truly wonderful RC car. In true Top Gear style, I took my GTR to an empty warehouse and gave this the road test of its life. The warehouse was chosen for its large test area, which was on a smooth polished concrete floor (ideal for the power sliding element).
What sets this RC car apart from any others is the motion sensitive handset (like a Wii!), so turn the handset left the GTR goes left. The only other buttons required are forward and back, which means you pick up complete control in seconds.
Get yourself a large open area, set the car forward at full speed. At the last minute, pull your controller either right or left and keep throttle on. Watch the GTR slide out with an effortless cool. Bags of fun.
My favourite RC car for some time. The power sliding feature is excellent, but the real genius behind this car is the Wii like handset, which gives the driving experience a whole new dimension.
