Wadworth 6X 5litre Cask Review
If there is one thing I have learnt in this quest for the perfect gift, it is not the cost - rather the desire of the recipient that is the most important factor.
If the gift is to be a success, it has to be something that is wished for. Wadworth 6X in a cask have nailed it.
I, like most males, often wish for beer. Good times, bad times…any time. Beer makes me sit up. Admittedly, after a few, I do tend to slouch and after a few more, maybe dribble a bit. I’m getting of the subject.
The subject being Wadworths fine Real ale, the 6X. You’d be lucky to enjoy it in a pub. The mini cask will change everything! This is proper Cask conditioned ale that pours a perfect pint (and nearly another 8 after that). The real Ale has a reputation and this is understandable, it is deliciously easy to drink.
I had mine set up and ready to go in 10 seconds. Pouring your own from a cask is a wonderful feeling. These unbreakable barrels of joy cost £15.00 plus p&p and will be delivered within 3 days.
For me (I’m biased) this is the perfect gift solution for hard to buy for men. Fathers day, birthdays or just for being good – I love it.
