What Every man should have in his tool box!

OK… so I’m sad to get excited over power tools… but I am a 30 something man after all!

This is a great gift idea for Father’s Day and just in time for the big DIY weekend which is Easter. It’s the new Dremel Driver, which is apparently very good for medium and light duty DIY. It even has a Speed Trigger – these guys have thought of everything!

It has a T-handle design so easy to hold and measures just 12.5cm so will get into all those difficult spaces.  It will fix pictures to a wall, install a lock set, mount cabinet hardware, install lighting fixtures and assemble flat-pack furniture - there are even two IKEA bits included. I just installed my new toilet and basin with it so it can handle some rather tough projects.

It’s powered by a 7.2V Lithium Ion battery (it all comes with a charger) and has a variable speed of 0-300 RPM - with an electronic brake so it stops exactly when you want for max precision.

It costs £55.78 and should be one of those tools found in every man’s box. Available from the Dremel website.
