The AnySharp – Reviewed

The AnySharp knife sharpener is an easy and safe tool to help you sharpen all of your old and dull knives. Restoring your old knives is a great and cost-effective way to recycle your otherwise useless blades. The AnySharp has a small form factor and can be easily stored away when not in use. In order to sharpen your knives, you simply have to run the blade through the device in the instructions direction. The sharpening is very fast when compared to traditional methods, and you can sharpen your entire knife collection in minutes.

The device uses suction in order to give a solid grip on most surfaces, but you can also PowerGrip it to your fridge if you want a more permanent position. It also works very well on serrated knives, meaning that your bread and steak knives are easy to restore. The only downside we found with the AnySharp is that it’s actually slightly too effective! It takes off a lot of steel with each swipe, so you have to be very careful not to use it too many times on a single knife. This is easy to avoid and won’t be an issue for most standard kitchen knives, but we would still recommend exercising caution for any expensive knives.

With a low RRP of £17.99, the AnySharp is incredibly affordable and proves to be an essential tool for any kitchen. It has also been used by various celebrity chefs, including Jamie Oliver. It is available in various colours, with the metal variation costing slightly more. You can pick one up for yourself on Amazon, or if you want to know more information about the AnySharp then you can check out their website here.
