Best Christmas Calendars for 2019
Joe & Seph’s Gourmet Popcorn Advent Calendar(£25)
Look no further for a unique and delicious advent calendar for 2019. We were blown away by Joe & Seph’s, it’s hard to believe that so much flavour can be packed into just one piece of popcorn. This super stylish and eye-catching calendar is one of the best ways to see in the festive season. Plus, it’s gluten free too!
Designed as a beautiful snow-covered Victorian shop-front (£25), this year’s calendar features 12 flavours, behind the 24 windows, including Speculoos, Orange Chocolate and Banoffee Pie popcorn. The flavours are all a hit, we’ve never had popcorn that is so dangerously indulgent and moreish.
Looking for more Joe & Seph’s Christmas goodies? We recommend the Prosecco Popcorn Mini Gift Box (£4), this sleek and sophisticated offering combines the delicious texture of their popcorn and christmassy taste of fizz. Yum!
Joe & Seph’s Christmas range will be available in-store at Debenhams, House of Fraser, Harvey Nichols, John Lewis Food Hall, Booths and Whole Foods Market (Advent Calendar, Ultimate Gourmet Popcorn Selection Box, Dark and Milk Chocolate Bites Mini Gift Boxes), Selfridges (Popcorn Shop Tin, Gourmet Popcorn Advent Calendar, Popcorn Shop Tin Bauble, Giant Popcorn Cracker), Ocado (Advent Calendar). You can also find the full Christmas range online at joeandsephs.co.uk, where last minute shoppers can also purchase vouchers for the Joe & Seph’s Gourmet Popcorn Subscription Service, sign up to gift 8 exclusive and classic flavours every month!
Green & Black’s Organic Chocolate Advent Calendar (£12.99)
The Green & Black’s milk and dark chocolate Advent Calendar is an elegantly presented collection of Dark 70%, Milk with Butterscotch, Dark with Ginger, Milk, Dark 80% miniature bars. Open a door each day (if you can restrain yourself) to find a tasty treat hidden within. The set includes Green & Black’s individually wrapped dark and milk chocolates, for which the brand has become synonymous with.
One little disappointment was the lack of evenness between the chocolate selection, we ended up with only a handful of the milk chocolate and butterscotch flavours, with the majority of the calendar appearing to be dark chocolate. Otherwise, you can’t go too far wrong with this Green & Black’s calendar made from the finest ethically sourced ingredients.
