I had the pleasure of trying out The Amazing Spiderman 2 Morphsuit, and I was not disappointed. The suits are made out of a comfortable, elasticated fabric which fits snugly to your body. The photo-realistic printing technology used on the suit allows for tiny details which highest muscle curvature to be clear; this means that even with me under the suit, Spidey has never looked better.

The deluxe range of Marvel Morphsuits all feature virtual superpowers, which bring the suits to life using augmented reality. By simply installing the free Morphsuits smartphone app (available on iOS and Android), you can amaze your friends by slinging Spiderman’s webs, drawing Wolverine’s claws, throwing Captain America’s shield, or drawing Deadpool’s sword. The app is very responsive, and I found myself slinging webs left, right and centre in no time. The only drawback is that the app can’t save photos to your camera roll, so I’m afraid there won’t be any superhero selfies.

Getting in and out of the suits is straightforward. There is a zip on the back of them which goes from the top of the head to the lower back, and reaching it can be a little tricky; depending on how flexible you are, putting on the suits may be a two-man job. Although visibility is reduced whilst wearing the suits, it’s still fairly easy to see where you’re going, and I even managed to make out my phone screen whilst wearing it.

Overall the suits have all been made with such great attention to detail that anybody in the street would mistake you for the real deal. They are the perfect gift for any superhero fan, and would make a hilariously fun Father’s Day gift. Each of the Marvel-themed Morphsuits have three versions; the basic version at £20.99, the regular version at £30.99, but if you want all of the features (such as the virtual superpowers), then you’ll want to look at the Deluxe range at £40.99.
