Parrot has recently brought out their latest digital photo frame, which happens to be a collaboration with designer, Martin Szekely. It`s called the Specchio and is not just a pretty face!
If you have never heard of Martin Szekely, he`s a contemporary French artist, famous for his minimalism and that`s quite clear when you look at the frame. The frame doubles as a mirror when not in use which is a great feature…
“If you look in the mirror, your left is on your left and your right is on your right. On the photo, your left is on your right and your right is on your left. So, this object is both a mirror and a photo,†explains Martin Szekely.
The photoframe element of the Specchio probably couldn`t be any easier to operate. It offers multiple connections (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth®, NFC – Near Field Communication, mini-USB port and SD card reader) so there`s no excuses for uploading your snaps.
If the mirror and photoframe functionality wasn`t enough to keep you busy, then you can use it for articles scanned from the press, original ads, recipes for oriental dishes, to-do lists for the weekend; in fact, for any source of information or picture which helps to make your daily life easier and decorate the inside of your home. You can store up to 1,500 pictures in it and as much practical information you want to share…
It retails for around £250 and we love it!
